Overview

samos PRO is Wieland's modular, configurable safety controller. Pick COMPACT for safety logic built from discrete devices - safety LiDARs and scanners, light curtains, e-stops, gates, interlocks, muting and press functions. Pick MOTION when the safety function depends on movement: it includes every COMPACT feature and adds four fast motion inputs and monitoring of up to two axes (standstill, speed, direction of rotation, position). Expand with safe I/O, safe analog, standard I/O and fieldbus gateway modules. Programmed in the license-free samos PLAN 6 software with automatic hardware configuration, offline simulation, forcing, and one-click project reports.
